Kansas City — The Kansas City Outlaws were nearly flawless Friday during the opening night of PBR Teams: Outlaw Days.
Koltin Hevalow, Heitor Santos Ferreira, Brennon Eldred and Sandro Batista gave the home crowd plenty to cheer for as The Outlaws went a perfect 4-for– 4 to open up the competition. Cassio Dias had a chance to put The Outlaws in position to secure their second perfect game of the season. However, UTZ BesTex Legend had other plans, bucking off the 2024 PBR World Champion in 3.04 seconds. The Outlaws finished Game 1 with an impressive 5-for-6 showing, defeating The New York Mavericks 350.25 – 85.25.
The No. 2 Outlaws improve to 12 – 5 on the season. Kansas City is one step closer to clinching a spot at the 2024 PBR Teams Championship. The Outlaws will now turn their attention to the Austin Gamblers during night two of PBR Teams: Outlaw Days.
