Anaheim, Calif. — Three rides were more than enough to end Nashville’s seven-game losing streak. Saturday during the second night of PBR Teams: Anaheim, the Nashville Stampede defeated the Austin Gamblers 256.5 – 86.5. The victory improves Nashville’s overall record to 8 – 12, moving them from the No. 10 spot to No. 8 in the PBR Teams standings.
Kaique Pacheco got Austin off to a solid start posting a score of 86.5 against Let’s Tango. But the remainder of the Gamblers riders went scoreless on Saturday.
The Stampede were able to seize the moment. Silvano Alves got Nashville on the scoreboard, taming Fajita for an 86-point ride.
Cody Jesus continues to put an injury-plagued 2023 campaigned in the rearview mirror. The 26-year-old (paired with Side Hustle) delivered an 83.5-point ride to but Nashville up a bull over Austin.
Kaiden Loud would provide the cherry on top of the evening by scoring 87 points on his ride atop of Desperado to clinch the victory for the Stampede.
Meanwhile Cassio Dias brought the fans inside the Honda Center to their feet during a back-and-forth match-up between the Kansas City Outlaws and the Arizona Ridge Riders.
Kansas City trailed by four points, entering the fifth round, before the reigning World Champion delivered a clutch 85.75-point ride aboard West Coast, to propel the Outlaws into the lead over Arizona. It was Dias’ fourth must-ride score of the season.
Ultimately, the game would come down to a judge’s decision - but in the end, Kansas City defeated Arizona 344.25 – 263. The win keeps the Outlaws locked into the No. 2 spot in the Teams standings.
