Fanchon Stinger

Biography

Fanchon Stinger is the co-host of Morning on Merit Street. She is also a national TV personality and contributor to PBR Now, a weekly TV show on RidePass on Pluto TV. As a TV host and news anchor, her accomplishments include being a 15-time Emmy Award winner, and recipient of the United States Department of Health and Human Services highest honor, the Inspector General’s Integrity Award.

Stinger retired from broadcast news in May 2022 after serving as a journalist for nearly 30 years, most recently as the evening news anchor at FOX 59 in Indianapolis. During her time in Indianapolis, she was also the executive producer and anchor/reporter of the Community Hero series highlighting people who make a difference in central Indiana (2010-2020) and actress in God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness (2019). She now focuses on producing positive and inspirational media through her company, FLS Media & Strategic Solutions, and hosting events nationwide.

In 2021, she founded Grit & Grace Nation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering young girls to lead. Her mission through Grit & Grace Nation and the Grit & Grace Online Leadership Academy is to equip young ladies all over the country to be courageous, value-driven, and uphold principles of faith, family, and freedom. The organization provides programming focused on mentorship, etiquette training, career preparation, mental health and developing life skills. In 2024, she hosted the 2nd Annual Grit & Grace Celebrity Gala and Fundraiser at the Lucas Oil Estate in Carmel, Indiana, honoring human rights advocate Kathy Ireland with Grit & Grace Nation’s Living Legend Award during the event. 

With a lifelong love for animal welfare and western sports, Fanchon owns two bucking bulls that compete in PBR (Professional Bull Riders) events nationwide. PBR partners closely with Fanchon along with other national sponsors to host events and honor young leaders of Grit & Grace Nation on a local and national stage.

Stinger currently serves as a board member for the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation, founding member for Called to Care Circle of Impact for Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, and board member/conference host for the Truth at Work International Christian Leadership Conference. She has also been a board member for Life Centers-Indiana, Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault, Peace Learning Center-Indianapolis, Focus2020 Indiana Business Leadership Initiative, and Vista Maria, among other community organizations and causes.
