The parents of the Oxford School Shooter have been sentenced to jailtime for their son’s crime. Dr. Phil sits down with the father’s defense attorney and legal experts to discuss the ramifications.
In part one, Dr. Phil meets with Mariell Lehman, the defense attorney for the father of the Oxford School shooter. Both parents were sentenced to 10-15 years in prison after their son killed 4 students at his school. Mariell defends that parents shouldn’t be charged for crimes they had no knowledge of. However, Michigan Judge Rosemary Aquilina and former LA prosecutor and News on Merit Street anchor, Loni Coombs argue that the parents intentionally ignored the warnings from their son and trained him to use the weapon they gifted him to carry out the shooting.
