Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives can be found widely across corporations and universities. And there are concerns that the practice is undermining one of our nation's core values, merit. As a country are we lowering standards and dismissing qualified candidates to fill quotas? Some argue it levels the playing field, while others say D.E.I perpetuates racism and sexism.
